Santiago to Finisterre

On the 3rd of September 2014,I went back to Santiago to walk to Finisterre , I felt my journey was not complete even though getting to Santiago had been my original goal.

Yet again I walked in the finest of company and the final leg of my journey took three days and covered some 60 miles.

Arriving at Finisterre was very moving indeed and I realised that I had come as far as I could on this Camino and my journey was over, I had covered some 570 miles over 34 days

Looking back on it all it has been the most incredible journey ,one I will never forget . The above photo says it all, a gesture to my inspiration,I could not have done it without you 

I intend to walk the Portuguese Camino next year leaving on the 23 rd May,some 440 miles ending in Finisterre again.

I have decided I will be doing a Blog again as this Blog has been a constant reminder of the happy exhausting wonderful sad uplifting times I had, what a lucky man I was to have experienced it.
