YL Had a good nights sleep I am pleased to say, had breakfast then we went and saw The Cathedral ,it is the only one I know that charges you to get in though having said that pilgrims get a discount,we forgot our pilgrims passport so dipped out on that.
We carried on with our rubber necking it really is a beautiful place full of history and bustling streets
It easy to forget that Spain is still in recession and there is a high level of unemployed ,we have seen lots of people begging which is heart breaking,Jeremy could not pass this man by with his gorgeous without contributing ,he got a lick for his generosity.
On the subject of dogs we came across one later sitting in the road,he was not going to move until his master came out,he was not even tied up.
Well it was back to the square for a well earned pint and some music.Thankfully the sword fighter who had been fighting his imaginary foe last night had moved on or been taken to the local loony bin
Time for lunch and we met back up with the team, we ate Pinchos which is this areas equivalent of Tapos, you can probably smell the garlic whilst reading this,it was delicious.
After lunch it was back to necking, we came across this amazing sweet shop, thank goodness Piers was not with me otherwise I would have spent a fortune, having said that,we all came away with bags full of sweets and chocolate which we will enjoy over the coming days. How I never bumped into Willy Wonka I will never know.
We then decided to stroll around the city walls ,the views across to the mountains and surrounding hills were stunning.
One cannot help noticing that come the afternoon the bustling streets of Pamplona become deserted as the Spanish have their long lunches.
We had a lovely evening Fleur caught up with us and was suffering with knee problems I must say the blister on my left trotter is beginning to play havoc. All said and done I am looking forward to moving on,every step I take is one less I have to do.

That's enough enjoying yourselves with beer, food and sweets and a day off etc! Ha ha. The pictures seem to be getting better. I am thoroughly enjoying reading your blog Peter and catching up with your antics! Keep going. Soraya x
